Adapt - BLACK (light adaptive lens)
Weather finally cooperated and I was able to get out and try out the new Adapt-Black. Verdict: They’re great. Fit perfectly, and didn’t notice they were on. Started out in bright sun, and as the ride went on, they adapted to the lowering afternoon light levels, and I never even noticed. Also (and very usefully) they reacted quickly when I went from sunshine to a tunnel underpass. 5 ***** Strongly recommend
Its still early but so far these are working great. They are light and don't slide down my nose during an MTB ride.
When i first got these I wasn't all that impressed. Yea they were built fine but the lens didn't seem to be anything special. It wasn't until I wore them that I realized, I didn't even notice them. And to me that's the beauty of them. They do exactly what they are supposed to do. They allow the perfect amount of light in the trees and dim bright light enough that I don't even consider it and they are super comfortable. I'm comparing all this to my old pair of poc glasses, which I gave away because they were so uncomfortable, and my current Smith glasses that are fine but, not nearly as comfortable nor photochromic. These are definitely my go to glasses now.
I wear contact lenses and usually opt to wear no riding glasses as they fog up, get in the way, bounce around and can cause weird airflow that cause my contacts to blur (very dangerous); with these Nolly glasses i experience NONE of those issues. Im super stoked on them and feel really protected and comfy when riding. I can kinda forget about them which is what u want when mountain-biking. Highly recommend, especially for the price! Don’t pay more for other name brands
